The aim at RedHeads has always been grape liberation. They hunt down premium parcels of fruit that were destined to be blended into some big name, nondescript wine and give it the attention it deserves in the winery. Moving forward, RedHeads will be more selective about its vineyard partners. “As the business re-assesses its fruit contracts and the range is expanded, there certainly will be more products displaying the certification,” states the press release. “The 2022 March of Progress McLaren Vale Shiraz will be RedHeads’ first label to display a ‘Spring Leaf Label.’ A fitting first, given that the wine label and story represent the company’s mission to become greener.”
