"The 2024 season in Margaret River was the hottest, driest and earliest on record. Rain ceased to fall by the end of September 2023 and didn't meaningfully begin again until May 2024. Harvest was the earliest on record by a margin, and the fruit for this wine was picked over a period of a month, from January 11 through to February 11. The 2024 Dancing in the Sun comprises a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (53%), Semillon (28%), Chenin (14%), Chardonnay (4%) and Verdelho (1%). The fruit was grown across three vineyards: the Metricup, the Mangan and the Cullen, all certified organic. Aromatically, the wine is spicy and wide, with layers of lemongrass, preserved citrus, saffron, Pink Lady apple and beeswax. In the mouth, the wine is texturally creamy and sleek; it is full of fruit and fruit flavors, and the length of flavor is very good. This is an impressive wine."
