Tasting Note
A well integrated seam of acidity meanders through the layered palate, reminiscent of lemon Magnolia flowers descending into lightly poached apples. The long, rumbling finish yields brioche characteristics.

"At nearly a decade old, Digby's medium gold-hued vintage wine is fruit- and cream-driven; it's a crowd-pleaser if ever there was one. Peach candy, lemon essential oil, orange blossom and yeast open this highly aromatic bottling. The palate is still remarkably crisp and fresh, juxtaposed by the rich texture and yeasty, autolytic characters. There's lovely length, finishing citrusy and juicy and making another sip an exceptionally easy task."

"I’ve tasted this multi award-winning wine on several occasions over the past couple of years and it has never failed to impress. As well as being rounded and sumptuous, it shows all the classic secondary notes of truffle, spice and caramelised nuts that you can expect from mature English fizz. A great example of 2013 at its very best. Digby’s 2014 Vintage Rosé is also superb."
